Who doesn’t love a party, holiday, or get-together with friends and family? Okay, maybe family can be a bit much. But family drama, great friends, and the good, the bad, and the ugly conversations at parties inspired me to create “Shindigs” as part of the Dollhouse Chronicles.

And anyway, getting my point across through doll talk has been way more fun (and a whole lot safer) than the real-life get-togethers and partisan dialogue I’ve been navigating with my friends and family for the past few years.
